OFX (Open Financial eXchange) and Microsoft Money

OFX (Open Financial eXchange) is a standard for exchanging and downloading financial information into financal packages. It was created by Intuit, Checkfree and Microsoft in 1997 (see the copy of the press release - Article 259). It is currently used as a format for downloading bank statements into Microsoft Money and Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting.
