Euro Exchange Rate Patch

Early versions of Microsoft Money came out before the Euro was in existence. Consequently, they have little or no support for the currency.

For some of the Microsoft Money European editions, Microsoft released patches to allow the Euro to be used properly. The patches, where available, can be obtained through the patches page.

To use, download the patch and run. The patches tend to replace the MNYOLINV.DLL file.

To test it, configure Money to have a couple of original Euro currencies using the Euro. Set up accounts for the currencies (old and new) and perform an online update. Transfers between the accounts will use the 'official' Euro transfer rates (FAQ Article 282).
