ActiveSync reports that one item is not synchronized

When you are using Money for the Pocket PC, activesync might report that 1 item is not synchronized. A manual synchronization appears to fix the problem, but then shortly afterwards, it reports that one item is not synchronized again.

It is not obvious, using trial and error, to have any easy way of fixing this permanently, and it appears to be normal behavior.

If you are using Microsoft ActiveSync 4.x, then you may find that the synchronization is fixed by going back to ActiveSync 3.8. ActiveSync 4.x is for Windows Mobile 5 devices, which Microsoft Money doesn't support (FAQ Article 219).
