Unable to balance a 401(k) or retirement account in Money 2005
After filling in all of your data for a 401(k) or retirement account using the 'update retirement account' wizard off the 'more investing tasks' option in the portfolio, you press the final button to accept the changes. The program says 'Your information is being updated. click Ok, wait a few moments, and then try again. If your problem continues, close & reopen money. If you're using MSN money, close and reopen internet explorer.'
This is a bug which was fixed in the QFE that Microsoft released in late November 2004. Make sure you have version 14.0.xxx.1105. Money should update to this version automatically, but if it won't or hasn't, then see
