Windows Home Server corrupts Money 2007 files

A recently discovered problem (December 2007) was found with Windows Home Server (WHS) and Money 2007. This problem causes the money files saved to the WHS device to become corrupted.

To avoid the issue, you'll need to make sure you maintain local backups of your Money files, and not rely on the Windows Home Server ones.

This problem affects a few other programs such as Outlook 2007, OneNote and Windows Photo Gallery. It also has been reported to affect some Quicken and Quickbooks programs.
